Convincing start-to-finish win On his hometrack Pierre Kaffer scored his first pole position and his first win for his new Team Kolles Racing. "I am really relieved. I had no problems at all, a good start and a controlled race. In the last two laps I slowed down a bit", the former Formula Opel Champion commented his convincing start-to-finish win. In the second race he moved up from seventh to the third position. But then he got massive problems. With a slipping clutch he had to fight very hard but dropped back to seventh position.
